SKIES Unlimited

The name SKIES Unlimited is an acronym for “School of Knowledge, Inspiration, Exploration, and Skills” with the word “Unlimited” representing the unlimited possibilities this program can offer Army children and youth.

SKIES Unlimited encompasses instructional programs for children and youth ranging from six weeks old to adolescence. Through SKIES Unlimited, children and youth on Fort Irwin all have equal access to opportunities that expand their knowledge, inspire them, allow them to explore, and acquire new skills.

SKIES Unlimited has a four-school system. The four schools are:

School of Sports
School of Arts
School of Life Skills
School of Academic Skills

Ever wonder what your child will be when he or she grows up? Maybe the next Mozart, the one who tops Leonardo da Vinci, or maybe both. The School of Knowledge, Inspiration, Exploration, and Skills (SKIESUnlimited) offers a wide variety of programs that will unlock your child’s potential.

SKIES Unlimited programs are available to children 6 weeks to 18 years of active duty military, retirees, DoD civilians and contractors of Fort Irwin. SKIES participants must be registered with Child, Youth & School Services.
